Two strangers meet on the night train. The poet and lawyer Leyla, 42, is travelling to attend her high school reunion while Canan, 21, is on her way to a nursing ‘job’. Leyla is intrigued by Canan from the moment she boards the train. After Leyla bombards her with never-ending questions, the young nurse reveals her reasons for being on this train, and a one-way journey for the two begins.

يدور الفيلم حول لقاء غريبتين في القطار خلال رحلة ليلية، وهما: الشاعرة والمحامية ليلى التي تسافر لأجل لقاء صديقاتها من أيام المدرسة الثانوية، والثانية هي كانان التي تسعى إلى مزاولة مهنة التمريض. أثارت كانان فضول ليلى منذ لحظة صعودها على متن القطار. بعد أن قصفتها ليلى بأسئلة متواصلة، تكشف الممرضة الشابة كانان عن أسباب وجودها في هذا القطار، وتبدأ رحلة في اتجاه واحد لهما.
